No surprise really. When things go wrong, you start to see the real Djokovic. He has.a history of throwing tantrums, swearing, destroying rackets, comimg up with excuses and, and, and...... I honestly find it difficult to like or respect this guy.15-04-2024 19:57

Not really a surprise. When Djokovic wins, it's all about him and how good hé is. He had no success so far this year and somebody has to take the blame. It can't be the 'showboat' himself and somebody has to take the blame. Well, guess who? The coach, Ivanisevic of course. I take my hat off for Ivanisevic who had to put up with a very unpleasent sportsman. One who throws tantrums when things get tough, always having excuses when losing and being very rude as we saw so many times when shouting and swearing at his box when he's the one making the mistakes. Ivanisevic will be better off without all Djokovic's mood swings and outbursts.27-03-2024 21:24

So very, very sad! Condolences to one of the most popular, friendly and nicest players on the tour. Thinking of you in this difficult times. Stay strong and take care Aryna.😪19-03-2024 20:16

Brilliantly done by Nardi and well deserved. We had a 10 era where there wasn't really any competition for the top 3 players - the other two, Nadal and Federer. In other eras any of the top 10 could beat his opponent on the day. Federer also retired years ago while Nadal struggled with injuries. As a result Djokovic cleaned up most tournaments. Now suddenly, there's a new new generation coming through who play top class tennis. Sinner is winning more than losing against Djokovic and Alcares can beat Djokovic on any given day. So nice to see a new generaration coming through.12-03-2024 17:52

It was stated that Rublev sweared at the official. As a result, he was disqualified. QUESTION? What's the final verdict afterwards in this regard? Did he swear - yes or no? If not, Rublev got a raw deal as he could have gone on to win the tournament. Yes, no problem if he got a fine for his behaviour which was wrong but I get the impressson he did not swear and as a result he recovered his ATP points and prize money. An admission that the ATP was wrong on the count of swearing? This probably cost him to play in the final and possibly also winning the tournament. So, what now? Perhaps he must reconsider going back next year. This said, there's no doubt that Rublev needs to work harder on his emotional outbursts. I think he knows it too. He is a great guy, nice to watch and a good, solid player too.04-03-2024 15:36

It was a fantastic victory to Kalinskaya and Swiantek's reaction (like Djokovic) so predictable. They always come up with some sort of excuse like they didn't feel welll, some sort of injury, tired or not at their best on the day. Just can't admit that they lost aginst a better player on the day. So, nothing new here. I knew Swiantek would come up wirh something. The only question was, " what? " Now we know...... The fact however is that the Russian beaut was cool and calm, always in control of her emotions and outplayed Swiantek on the day. Brilliant and well done to her!!24-02-2024 14:58

I said it so many times on "tennisuptodate" that there's just far too many reasons why peole dislike this bloke in spite of all his eforts ( many silly and cringing ) and here you have it again. Yet another excuse, one of so many over the years when he loses matches. A few days back when on court and shortly afterwards he admit he was outplayed but I said just waite for it, it's not his final words. He will come up with an excuse at some point. Spot on! Fever the night before but only he knows about it.....Djokovic doesn't lose and if so, it's because of this or that 'reason.' He is so pathetic!!!! He just can't accept when his beaten by better player on the day.. The balls were to soft, he had a bad shoulder, somebody stepped on his toe the night before and, and, and....... He might have won a lot of Slams, but as person? No thank you!!! He's not nearly in the class of greats like a Federer, Nadal and others over the years. And he never will be. He really is a poor djoker!01-02-2024 14:24

It seems you're the Pro then who doesn't make an effort to read and watch what her opponents say. Yesterday she had an altercation with tje umpite (who's the best in the business)after a time violation. In the press conference she said the umpire is too 'strict' on the rules. Good lord, she's there to apply the laws but Swiatek is number 1 and apparently it musn't apply to her. Her opponents rightly accused her of making use of all sort of tricks and tactics to distract them. Clearly you are totally unaware or uninformed about this. And, that was what I was talkung about mr. genius.20-08-2023 19:42

Swiatek is becoming the Djokovic of women tennis. Both have always excuses when they lose. They love to pretend, nice with people it suits them albit not so nice when things go wrong. Both started off like 2 nice and interesting young players. Djokovic then started to lose plot and the same is busy happening with Swiatek now. Djokovic is using tactics to put his opponents off when things starting to go wrong on court and Swiatek is busy following the same route. Good hard hitting players but not likeable (Federer, Nadal. etc) I'm afraid to say. Except for those who will support them whatever they do of course. You get this type of supporter in any sport for one reason or the other.20-08-2023 16:00
