Novak Djokovic has announced that an exhibition tournament will be staged in the Balkan region called the Adria Tour to raise money for humanitarian projects in the region.

The Adria Tour line-up comprises of not only Djokovic, but World Number Three, Dominic Thiem; as well as former ATP Finals winner Grigor Dimitrov, Damir Dzumhur and Viktor Troicki.

It will see the eight players face off in Belgrade, Zadar, Montenegro and Banja Luka; it will see the return to action for Djokovic and Thiem in particular likely before the ATP Tour restarts.

The series will end in a tie between Djokovic and Dzumhur in Sarajevo on 5th July; the format sees the players being split into two round robin groups; with a Fast Four format used to decide a final each weekend.

If fans can attend, there will be two ticket sessions per day available. The World Number One said the following about the tournament.

“I am proud to officially share the news that the Adria Tour will be held across the Balkans from 13th June to 5th July. Kicking off with a tournament in Belgrade. I am very grateful and excited that we could make this happen to play and support humanitarian projects across the region. See you guys soon.”
