3rd day results at Winston-Salem Open, Berdych loses in his 2nd match

During the second round, also the seeded players got into the action at the Winston-Salem Open. 1st and 2nd seeded managed to win their matches without losing the set. Paire defeated Gunneswaran and Shapovalov defeated Sandgren, who has won against Andy Murray in the first round.
After the match, Shapovalov talked about his feelings and how he is felling at the tournament. “It was definitely a great win,” Shapovalov said. “We've played a few times in the past and I normally play well against him, so I was just trying to be aggressive and take time away from him. I'm feeling fresh and ready for tough situations like the second set today, so I'm looking forward to my next match.”
The first deaf player on the ATP circuit, who managed to win in the first round, was also playing on the 3rd day. Duckhee Lee faced Hurkacz, but he failed to win the match even though he won in the first set. He was disappointed after the match.
“I’m a little bit disappointed right now,” Lee said. “I had many chances that I didn’t utilise, but it was a great experience overall.”
