Nick Kyrgios advances to Houston semifinals thanks to a walkover

Nick Kyrgios was supposed to take on Michael Mmoh in the quarterfinals of the Houston Clay Championship however the American withdrew from the match.

Mmoh played a rather strong event despite not being the best on clay. It's mostly to do with the fact that he was playing on native soil where Americans usually do much better. He also had a favourable draw and took advantage of it. Nick Kyrgios did the same although he did not have the best draw. He was simply playing very good tennis and he was looking forward to this match.

The match was supposed to go ahead later today but the American withdrew due to a right adductor strain. So Kyrgios moves to the semifinals thanks to a walkover.
