Alexander Zverev secures Dubai semi-final with win over Lorenzo Sonego

Tennis is finally clicking for Zverev who defeated Lorenzo Sonego in two sets 7-5 6-4 to secure the semi-final in Dubai which is the best result this season.
There haven't been too many good results for Zverev recently as his return to tennis was rather rusty due to him not playing for over six months. He's been playing really well in Dubai so far and this match is another one where he performed well. He served well like yesterday and added plenty of winners in another sturdy performance.
Sonego is a good player but he was a bit too erratic today committing 17 unforced errors which made his 20 winners look not as impressive. It was a rather interesting match but Zverev once again showed off his patience by waiting for his chance and as soon as it came, he was able to convert it in both sets.
