Day 2 at the Argentina Open will feature 8 matches as defending champion Cecchinato starts his title defense in Buenos Aires.
The Buenos Aires crowd had the chance to enjoy a
great day one at the
Argentina Open. Day two schedule of play promises to deliver an even better day. Last year's Champion
Marco Cecchinato will start his title defense run against Carballes Baena who is one of the Spaniards that doesn't play his best tennis on clay courts.
Another interesting match will be between Corentin Moutet who will play against Kovalik. The Frenchman started this season out in a great way reaching the
Doha Final but losing to Rublev. He continued his solid run in Australia but failed to build upon that in Cordoba last week. He will look to change that against a lesser opponent.
A total of four Argentinians will try to give the Buenos Aires crowd reasons to celebrate. The most notable of them Londero and Mayer will close out the play in the latter part of the day. Londero is set to play against Horansky who can be tricky on clay courts. His compatriot Mayer will play the last match of the day against Ramos from Spain who is considered to be the favorite.
All in all, it should be a great day for tennis and the home crowd will have plenty of players to cheer for. Stay with us as we will have the recap of the day tomorrow morning.
