The Astana Open schedule of play on Saturday will feature only two matches as the semifinals are set to start at 11:00 CET.
The final four tennis players in contention for the Astana Open title will battle it out tomorrow to determine who will earn a spot in the final. The programme is set to start a bit later than usual with the first match scheduled at 11:00 CET. It will be John Millman and Francis Tiafoe. Millman has played several good matches where he showcased his ability to play good indoors tennis. Tiafoe has been in form for a while now starting with strong performances on clay that continued on the hard courts. This will be an interesting matchup between two players who have a 2-2 score against each other with the odds favouring Tiafoe this time due to his better overall skillset.
The 2nd semifinal will feature another interesting matchup as Ruusuvuori takes on Mannarino. The Frenchman has played good tennis dating back to Cologne where he troubled Zverev considerably. The Finn has been a standout performer on indoor hard courts for over a year now so this run here is not a surprise. The players never played against each other but the odds favour the Finn more than the Frenchman despite Mannarino being the better overall player at the moment. It should be a great match for the spectators as well as it could very easily go in three sets.
