Novak Djokovic recently confirmed that he won't be getting vaccinated under any circumstances which would mean he won't play at the Australian Open next year.
That is until today, because today, Australia officially voted to lift all COVID border restrictions. That means that Djokovic, as an unvaccinated person will be able to enter the country despite not being vaccinated. That's great news for Djokovic who confirmed that he would gladly go to Australia next year if he can despite this year's fiasco.
Djokovic still has that 3-year ban imposed from last year which means that despite this change he can't enter the country as of now but it's widely expected that the ban will be lifted especially after the government change in the country. The change is what brought this COVID policy change as well.

Djokovic would still need to get his three-year deportation order lifted, but this is a big boost for his chances of playing in Australia again while steadfastly refusing vaccination. And perhaps there’s some momentum from this change that could reach America?
