Although some of the players are currently enjoying a well-deserved off-season, governing bodies need to find solutions on how to make the 2021 season as fluent as possible.
This starts with the first Grand Slam of the year, Australian Open. The 2021 Australian Open should be held from January 18th - 31st, while there were a lot of doubts if players will be allowed to train while arriving earlier to quarantine in Melbourne.
Now, as reported by Reuters, it was confirmed that players should be able to train while staying in a 14-day quarantine in Melbourne. However, this could mean that they will need to miss some of the tournaments from the Australian summer, which should include the ATP Cup which should be cancelled for the 2021.
