Wimbledon 2025 is upon us, with the WTA draw this year being anyone's to win. Barbora Krejcikova is the defending champion and will defend it between Monday, 30 June, and Sunday, 13 July.
As ever Wimbledon especially on the women's side is unpredictability central with Marketa Vondrousova and Krejcikova winning it in the last two years. Iga Swiatek has never fared great on grass since juniors and Aryna Sabalenka has missed it two out of the last three years. So ahead of the Grand Slam, follow it all here.
With the prize money being equal to the men's, it follows the same pattern with £3,000,000 for the winner. Runner-up will claim £1,520,000 with the semi-finalists set for £775,000.
First round losers seal £66,000 with just over £19,000,000 for each tournament. An 8.2% increase from last year.

Samuel Gill, Head Editor for TennisUpToDate.com sees a perhaps outside winner returning to win it once more.
Elena Rybakina for me strangely is my pick. Amid all the issues she has faced all year around her coach Stefano Vukov, she is great on this surface and was compared to Lindsay Davenport by Martina Navratilova.
I see too much fragility in the work of Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek. While Coco Gauff also lost out to Xinyu Wang in Berlin so perhaps can't be trusted either.
Jessica Pegula is hit and miss as of late so aside from those names, I'd say Mirra Andreeva, Jasmine Paolini and even throwing in Marketa Vondrousova after her Berlin exploits. Basically don't be shocked at another surprise winner.
