Felix Auger-Aliassime dropped only one game against Kecmanovic and he branded the performance as his best ever.
Auger-Aliassime is playing superb tennis in the past few weeks winning two trophies and beating Novak Djokovic at the Laver Cup as well. The Canadian said that his win over Djokovic was his best ever when it happened but he topped it in Basel by smashing Kecmanovic.
6-1 6-0 was the final score against a very solid player and speaking after Auger-Aliassime said:
"No, I mean honestly, no, it's tough to play better than that from my part. So, I mean for sure the best match I have played in my whole life, not my career, but I think since I was a little kid."
He would like to take it all the way as that would win his 3rd trophy in consecutive weeks. It's something not many have done with Casper Ruud doing it on clay last year.
