Boris Becker looks to be keeping a close eye on professional tennis despite his recent incarceration and even sent a message of support to Alexander Zverev following his ligament injury.
Boris Becker sent a message of support to Alexander Zverev from inside Huntercombe Jail in Oxfordshire after the rising star suffered a serious ligament injury at the French Open. That was revealed and confirmed by the older brother of Sascha Zverev, Mischa who spoke to BILD about his brother.
He said:
"Boris said he followed what was happening at the tournament and wishes Sascha all the best and a quick and good recovery.”
Becker, 54, was jailed for two and a half years back in April for hiding £2.5m worth of assets having filed for bankruptcy in June of 2017.
