Former World No.2
Casper Ruud will not participate in any warm-up events before
Wimbledon, as he has withdrawn from the upcoming
Halle Open.
The Norwegian tennis star fell to Novak Djokovic on Sunday in the
French Open final, and was scheduled to compete at the Halle Open next week. However, the 24-year old announced his withdrawal from the ATP 500 event.
Ruud has not been very successful at SW19, with his best performance coming last year when he reached the second round. With no official tournament on his schedule before Wimbledon, the French Open runner-up will have fewer opportunities to finetune his game during the grass court season.
