Recently a fake quote started to circulate about Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek which tennis legend Chris Evert found hilarious.
It was a troll tweet which is nothing unusual but generally speaking face quotes by tennis players have been circulating for a while. This one is easily identifiable as a fake one but it's still brought a smile to Evert's face. It said:
"Iga and I got dinner after our finals. I tried to hold her hand. She said the only male hand she’ll hold is Rafa’s. I understand. It is Rafa, after all.”
Evert retweeted it captioining it with:
"This is hilarious."

- Great article! I began cheering for the “real” doubles specialists at the beginning but once they all lost their respective matches I really didn’t care who actually won the whole tournament. I liked the last four teams in the semifinals and would have enjoyed seeing any of them win the trophy!
