Djokovic congratulates Medvedev and Raducanu on US Open triumphs

Novak Djokovic congratulated the newly crowned US Open champions Daniil Medvedev and Emma Raducanu on their triumphs.
Novak Djokovic failed to win the calendar grand slam in 2021 leaving Rod Laver as the only player to ever do so. Despite the failure, Djokovic took his defeat with grace and after the match took time to congratulate Medvedev and Raducanu on their success via his Twitter page. He wrote:
"Congratulations to both Champions. Amazing fairytale story on woman’s side with 2 teenagers competing in the finals. Emma you are fantastic 👏🙌 Daniil, you absolutely deserve your first Grand Slam title."
The post accompanied pictures of Medvedev and Raducanu with the US Open trophies and it showed that Djokovic has class even after the worst defeat of his life. Had he won the US Open he would do something that possibly would never be done again. He would also build an even better case for the greatest of all time mantle which many think he is anyway.
