Andy Roddick is not a fan of the way Djokovic referred to the media when he criticised Eurosport for the way they handled his bathroom break saga.
Roddick is now part of the tennis media working primarily for the Tennis Channell and he was not a fan of how Djokovic branded Eurosport's coverage of his bathroom break saga at the Australian Open as 'lynching'. Roddick made the comments on his Twitter profile as he so often does firstly praising Djokovic for the way he handled the annoying fan:
"Novak handled this as well as he could have. Was clear about explaining this issue, and calm when asking how ref was gonna help w a solution."
He then compared it to the words he choose for Eurosport calling them very very bad:
"And as well as he handled the above situation on video, his word choice of lynching when referring someone writing a bad article about going pee pee, was really really bad."
After a fan responded to Roddick he explained:
"Comparing criticism for a pee pee break to a public death without trial is melodramatic whenever you live. I understand labeling something woke is easier than arguing on the merits. Simply, criticism for a tinkle isn’t comparable to a public lynching."
