After winning two Grand Slam titles this season, Jannik Sinner is looking to improve his physical style of play as he has joined forces with Marco Panichi, the former fitness coach of Serbian tennis legend, Novak Djokovic.
Sinner captured his maiden Grand Slam title at the Australian Open earlier this year, before winning his second Major title at Flushing Meadows last week. The Italian is often known for his extremely physicality on the court, and it appears he's hoping to enhance that style of play after teaming with compatriot Panichi.

Panichi aided Djokovic's rise and stay at the top

The Italian coach worked with numerous ATP and WTA players during his long career. These include Angelique Kerber, Daniela Hantuchova, Fabio Fognini, Philipp Kohlschreiber, Li Na, Simone Bolelli, and Francesca Schiavone.
Panichi began working with Djokovic in 2019, and was instrumental in the Serbian winning several Grand Slam titles during that period. Furthermore, Djokovic was able to maintain the fitness required to fend off challengers to his throne, under the guidance of the fitness coach. The duo split early this year, with Djokovic posting a heartfelt tribute to the Italian.
Working with Panichi could boost Sinner's already impressive stamina on the court, as the World No.1 has been succumbed to hot and humid court conditions in the past. Additionally, he Italian coach could prove vital in ensuring Sinner maintains the longevity similar to Djokovic that enabled him remain a force on the Tour for so many years.
