Alex De Minaur has reached his 3rd quarterfinal on the grass in 3 weeks and the Australian is looking for more.
Alex De Minaur did not enjoy the clay season at all and the Australian was happy to be back on the grass. It's a part of the year he enjoys which he proved with another strong win over WC Liam Broady 6-3 6-4. De Minaur is through to the quarterfinals of Eastbourne and after the match he said:
“It was very intense. A very tough match at a high level, against a tricky opponent, who has been playing great. It’s a part of the year that I love. I enjoy the grass-court swing and I want to make every match count.”
De Minaur will face another excellent grass-court player in Vasek Pospisil next. The Canadian has returned to playing after several months of pause and has looked good. The Wimbledon doubles champion will prove a challenge for De Minaur but Alex has a 3-0 H2H against him and he will fancy his chances. The match starts at 16:30 CET.
