Jannik Sinner met with his girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya’s brother in Dubai. The World No. 1 is currently preparing for his pre-season at the Patrick Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in the United Arab Emirates, training alongside partners such as Grigor Dimitrov, Alexandre Muller, and Karen Khachanov.
The Italian, who resides in Monte Carlo, chose Dubai as his pre-season base to gear up for the upcoming year. With several weeks left before the start of the 2025 season, Sinner plans to play his first tournament at the Australian Open, beginning on 14 January. Like Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev, Sinner opted to skip any warm-up tournaments.
Amidst his preparations, Sinner received a special visit from his girlfriend’s brother, Nikolay Kalinskiy, a footballer for Russia’s FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod. Kalinskiy, who was traveling with his wife Valeria and their two young children, took the opportunity to meet with Sinner, pose for photos, and gift him a Pari Nizhny jersey.
This isn’t the first instance of a close relationship between Sinner and Kalinskaya’s brother. After Sinner’s victory at the US Open, the Italian managed to meet NBA legend Stephen Curry, who happens to be Nikolay’s idol. Sinner secured an autographed jersey for his brother-in-law, which Kalinskiy later proudly showcased on social media.
Meanwhile, Kalinskaya herself is also preparing for the 2025 season. Since her exit at the Ningbo Open in October, she has been spending time in her hometown, Moscow, frequently sharing photos and videos on social media. Recently, she celebrated her 26th birthday in Miami, Florida, as revealed through her posts.
