Mikael Ymer won earlier today and Elias Ymer was pretty close to completing the brotherly sweep however
Frances Tiafoe had better plans mounting a crazy comeback win 3-6 7-6(4) 7-6(2).
The American player was not playing a very good match and he was facing a rather inspired opponent who was playing a very good match. Elias Ymer took the opening set 6-3 fairly comfortably behind some amazing serving and 13 winners compared to Tiafoe's 3.
He only had two unforced errors as he rolled the American with ease. He was rolling in the second set as well having a 4-0 lead with no doubt in his mind that he was going to win the match. However, Tiafoe let loose a bit and it worked.
He went on a 4-0 run to make it 4-4 completely turning the match upside down and stunning the crowd. Things calmed down a bit and players cruised to a tiebreak where Tiafoe once again dominated taking a 6-0 lead and then closing it out 7-4. The final set was another great one from Ymer. He pushed Tiafoe quite hard at times creating several break chances.
He didn't use either and once it was tiebreak time, it was showtime. Tiafoe once again dominated his way past the Swedish player taking it 7-2 for the majestic comeback win.
