Top-ranked tennis star Taylor Fritz has been in astounding form this season, with the American reaching at least the quarterfinals or better in six consecutive events.
The World No.10 kicked off his 2023 campaign with title run at the inaugural United Cup, which he won alongside his compatriots. Although Fritz faltered in the second round at the Australian Open, he has been on a tear since Melbourne.
Fritz reached the semifinals at the Dallas Open, before going one step further and winning the title in Delray Beach. This was followed by another semifinal appearance at Acapulco, where he lost to countryman Tommy Paul in a 3 hour late-night epic.
The 25-year old would fail to defend his Indian Wells crown, falling in the quarterfinals of this year's event. However, he would a fifth consecutive final 8 this year at the Miami Open.
To kick off his clay-court campaign, Fritz is currently competing at the Monte-Carlo Masters, where he has made yet another quarterfinal. The American will face defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas on Friday for a spot in the semifinal.
