After agreeing to coach Novak Djokovic ahead of the 2025 Australian Open, former World No.1 Andy Murray wasted little time in expressing his opinion on what his ward does during the off-season.
Murray retired at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, ending a career that saw him capture the World No.1 spot and win three Grand Slam titles, in addition to two Olympic gold medals. The British star spent little time away from the sport, however, as it was recently revealed he has joined the coaching team of long-time Serbian rival.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion was captured on camera at a Formula 1 racing event recently, as the Serbian spends more time away from tennis. Earlier this season, Djokovic stated he would tone down his season schedule, shifting his focus from smaller ATP tournaments to mostly Grand Slams as he attempts to add event more to his resume.
Nonetheless, the photo of Djokovic enjoying himself during the off-season did not go unnoticed. Murray, the newest addition to Djokovic's coaching camp, caught wind of the photo. Known for his dry wit, the British star chimed in on the comments section, playfully stating his Serbian mentee should be spending his free time training.
"He should be on the practice court," wrote Murray.
