Holger Rune and Patrick Mouratoglou part company after six month association

Holger Rune has parted ways with Patrick Mouratoglou after six months of working together with both reflecting on the jounrey on socail meida.

Holger Rune surprised many by starting to work with Patrick Mouratoglou when Simona Halep got suspended from tennis. They planned on working together for three months initially but opted to continue for three more months as the Romanian player is yet to return to the sport following her suspension.

That partnership is now over after six months which might indicate that Halep is nearing a return or that they simply opted to stop working together. It's been a very fruitful partnership as Rune was able to solidify himself as one of the best players in the world winning his maiden ATP 1000 trophy under Mouratoglou as well.

Patrick wrote on Instagram:

"It was a pleasure to share this journey with you. Your energy and enthusiasm made it even more special. I have no doubt that your bright future holds amazing things."

Rune added:

"I remain your biggest fan and I keep an eye on you with the @mouratoglou_tennis_academy team, @holgerrune."
