Hubert Hurkacz wins 2023 Marseille over Bonzi

It went about as you'd expect it to go as Hurkacz is a really bad matchup for Bonzi. The Polish tower is a proper wall on the tennis court and he doesn't give away too much. Bonzi had some amazing moments but for the most part, his game tends to go up and down a bit.

In the first set, he struggled to wear down Hurkacz who was very solid. An early break was given away by the Polish player but he was able to still get it done with another break 6-3. The second set was largely a typical indoor one.

Good serves and very few chances on either side. Hurkacz had early break points but failed to convert. Bonzi had late set points but failed to convert. The end result was a tiebreak where Hurkacz proved better to win the trophy.
