BREAKING: Emma Raducanu declares herself fit ahead of the Australian Open after a "team effort" to help her recover from an ankle injury. 🎾
Emma Raducanu burst onto the scene as an 18-year old and in the meantime, she turned 20 but things are still the same in her life as nothing changed.
Raducanu is not technically a teenager anymore but she was one when she won the US Open. A lot has changed for Raducanu since then in her career but in her life things are pretty much the same. She hasn't changed and her parents still see her as a kid but that isn't really going to change in the future either:
“There's not much difference, really. I think my parents still see me as a kid so that's never going to change."
On turning 20 Raducanu further added:
"But yeah, it's like you kind of think in your head that 20 is old, but then you actually realise 'I've got like 15 years of this, if I want it', so I've still got a long time. It's just important to put that in perspective and not think you're running out of time at age 20."
She will play at the Australian Open after declaring herself fit to play.
