The ATP publishes its own rankings which are the official ones but there is another one that has Kyrgios ranked second, only to Djokovic.
The UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) is a ranking system that is gaining popularity around the world because it functions really well in practice. It measures the players' abilities scoring the player on a 16-point scale which can be applied to professionals and amateurs alike.
The rating is determined based upon the last 30 matches played by an algorithm. Based on that rating system, Djokovic would be ranked first with Nick Kyrgios being second. Daniil Medvedev would be third, Felix Auger-Aliassime 4th.
