Holger Rune talked about his training session with Serena Williams.

The 19-year-old tennis player recently participated in an interview with Gio Journal and was asked to choose the greatest female tennis player of all time, but he refused to choose one:

“I have a lot of respect for female tennis players, and it wouldn’t be right to single out one player as the greatest of all time,” said Rune.

However, the world No. 8 recalled a training session he had with the American legend Serena Williams:

“The competition would be unfair so I cannot answer this question. I have practiced with Serena. Love her clean strokes," add the 19-year-old tennis player.

Rune is the sixth seed at the Monte-Carlo Open and awaits in the second round for the winner of the match between Richard Gasquet and Dominic Thiem. Additionally, he will be participating in the doubles draw alongside world No. 10 Taylor Fritz, where they will face the Italian pair Simone Bolelli and Lorenzo Musseti.
