Marin Cilic ends 11 year relationship with coach

Marin Cilic is the latest player to make changes to his coaching staff with the Croatian announcing he terminated his 11-year long relationship with his coach.

The decision by Cilic to part ways with his coach is a curious one after the Croatian had a fairly solid year overall. Cilic and Hrvoj worked closely together in maintaining are the Croatian's physical form yet something must have broken down in the relationship. Cilic did not specify a reason for the breakup but announcing the news of his Twitter he wrote:

"After 11 years of incredible success, hard work, and dedication to improving every day, I am sad to say that Slaven Hrvoj and I have decided to end our professional relationship. It's been a privilege to share many moments with you."

Their relationship yielded the US Open trophy for Cilic along with the Davis Cup with Croatia.
