Medvedev will face Djokovic in the Dubai semi-final after he smashes Borna Coric 6-3 6-2 in Dubai continuing his amazing run ofr tennis in the last few weeks.
Medvedev hasn't been playing that well in recent months but he finally found himself in the past few weeks. It was actually in Rotterdam that it happened as he won that event. He then went to Doha and won that event with the run continuing in Dubai. He played a tricky player today but it didn't matter.
He rolled Coric relatively easily taking the first set 6-3 and the second 6-2. Coric had some good moments in the second set as he took a 2-1 early lead over the Russian with a break in hand but the Russian stormed back to win five games in a row. Four aces and 27 winners overall for the Russian who will face Djokovic for a place in the final.
