NBA superstar Nikola Jokic gives shoutout to Djokovic after reaching NBA Finals: "He is doing something great for kids, for Serbia"

NBA superstar Nikola Jokic spoke about Novak Djokovic after leading his Denver Nuggets to the NBA Finals admitting he wants to be like him.

Jokic and Djokovic are probably two of the biggest athletes in Serbia right now. One plays tennis and the other basketball, two of the most popular sports in the country. Some of that popularity can be attributed to the successes of both with Jokic admitting that Djokovic is a much bigger ambassador of the country.

Even so, he aims to be like him:

"He is a guy who represents Serbia in a much bigger scene. He's a Serbian ambassador, and he's really [an] idol to the kids in Serbia and not just on the court, [but with] the things that his foundation is doing. He is the guy who can you can look up [to], 'I want to be like him. He is doing something great for kids, for Serbia, for everything. So we cannot be compared.”
