Nick Bollettieri passes away: Legendary former coach of Williams Sisters, Sharapova, Agassi among others

Legendary former coach of many greats including the Williams sisters, Agassi and others, Nick Bollettieri passed away as confirmed by Tommy Haas.

There have been rumours about his passing away a few days ago but the coach reassured everyone with a social media post that he was feeling fine. Unfortunately, a few days later he did pass away as he was in ill health for quite a while.

Bollettieri is a legendary name in tennis circles due to the long list of players he coached with some of them being among the greatest players of all time. The news of his passing was confirmed by Indian Wells tournament director Tommy Haas who thanked him for everything he did on social media.

He was 91.
