The Special K's have reunited in Atlanta winning their opening clash against Nicolas Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin.
The French pairing is a very strong and experienced doubles pairing however they proved unmatched for Kyrgios and Kokkinakis. Playing in their first doubles event in a very long time, the duo demonstrated their well-known chemistry for the straight-set win.
It took 87 minutes and saw the Aussies dominate on their serve blasting 20 aces and losing only 8 points behind their first serve. It also marked the first time Kyrgios was in action since the Wimbledon final loss. He will also compete in the singles competition before making his way to Washington where he will play in the singles and team up with Jack Sock for the doubles.
