Tennis coach Rick Macci reveals why he believes Serbia’s legendary tennis star Novak Djokovic is the greatest player of all time. There has been a debate about who is the best player to have graced the tennis court with some exceptional performances from the likes of Switzerland’s Roger Federer, and Spain’s Rafael Nadal along with the 36-year-old over the last two decades.
Macci, in a post on his official account on social media platform X — previously known as Twitter — highlighted why Djokovic is the greatest player of all time in his opinion.

Djokovic has won the most number of Grand Slams (24) in the history of men’s singles tennis in the Open era. He had a fabulous year in 2023 where he won three out of four major titles.
His only defeat in a Grand Slam came in the final at Wimbledon where he lost to Spain’s young sensation Carlos Alcaraz in a five-set thrilling contest with a score of 1–6, 7–6(8–6), 6–1, 3–6, 6–4.
