"Rather play than watch her match" says Berrettini on Tomljanovic

Matteo Berrettini and Ajla Tomljanovic are a prominent tennis couple and Matteo is less stressed when playing than watching her play.

Matteo Berrettini and Ajla Tomljanovic have been together for a while and the duo have been supporting each other every time they can. Usually, their matches don't start at the same time which means one is in the stands watching but at Wimbledon recently that was the case.

It's something Berrettini likes as he is feeling too stressed when watching her play. On that he said:

"I finished first, like five minutes before. I'm playing best of five, so I didn't know if she won her match because they weren't showing the score. So I was like 'maybe she finished before me, maybe she's coming here."

Berrettini then admitted he was stressing out before finding out the score making up different scenarios. He said:

"Then I was like making movies; maybe she lost, maybe she's upset. I stepped out of the court and my coach said it was 5-1. Then I saw it was 15-40 and I was like 'oh no'. I would rather play than watch her match."
