Stan Wawrinka undergoes 2nd left foot surgery

Stan Wawrinka has been out since March but the Swiss has now undergone a 2nd left foot surgery.

Stan Wawrinka has had an unfortunate 2021 which has kept him off the courts for the majority of it. Back in March, he underwent a left foot surgery which has kept him sidelined throughout most of the clay season. Now he underwent another surgery on the same foot.

The 36-year old posted a video on him in a hospital bed with the caption:

"Same place, different day. Not where I wanted to be, but still a smile on my face."

It will be a lengthy recovery for Wawrinka who last played in Marc at the Qatar Open losing to Lloyd Harris.
