Jan-Lennard Struff is continuing to win this year as he added another win on clay at the Bordeaux Challenger, cruising past native player
Corentin Moutet 6-3 6-2.
The German has been performing on a spectacular level so far this year even replacing Alexander Zverev as the country's number-one player. He started the year ranked much worse than he is now and this win in Bordeaux is his 36th win of the season. He's 36-13 on the year with a firm ranking inside the top 30 after continued great performances.
This one was another one as taking down a French player on French soil is never easy. Moutet beat Thiem in the previous round so he's certainly playing at a capable level but it didn't matter. Fairly comfortably, Struff was able to take a break in the first set cruising to a 6-3 finish losing only a handful of points on his serve.
The second set was even more impressive as he was able to break Moutet twice in this once again dominating on his serve and being very aggressive on return. He finished things off 6-2.
