Rising tennis star
Ben Shelton has been capitalizing on his increasing popularity, as the American was recently featured in GQ Sports magazine.
The 20-year old took the tennis circuit by storm last summer, defeating former World No.2 Casper Ruud at the 2022 Cincinnati Open. He has since seen his stock rise, accumulating more wins during his first year of tour.
From college to stardom in less than a year
Shelton quit playing collegiate tennis at the University of Florida last year, soon after his breakthrough in Cincinnati. The Atlanta native decided to pursue a career as a professional tennis player, and has risen to a career-high of World No.19 following a semifinal finish at this year's US Open.
With so much potential and a bright future, Shelton took some time to feature in GQ Sports Magazine, where he spoke about his journey and career aspirations.
