The third date of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown is confirmed for the first time in Seoul, featuring players like Nick Kyrgios, Gael Monfils, Aleksander Bublik, and Soonwoo Kwon.
The exhibition event already played its first date in 2023 this past July, where Wu Yibing "The Great Wall" defeated Taylor Fritz "The Hotshot" in the final in Los Angeles.
The event was already confirmed for its second date in September at the Frankfurt venue, with Daniil Medvedev "The Chessmaster" as the main attraction. However, it was unknown where the next opportunity to see the big stars in this event would be.
For the first time, an event of this kind will come to South Korea between November 30 and December 3 of this year at KINTEX, Goyangsi, an indoor stadium with a capacity of 10,000 spectators.
The exhibition tournament will kick off with a special Thursday All-Star Game, where fans will get a first glimpse of the big stars who will be playing in the tournament.
First four players who will be part of the event lineup organized by coach Patrick Mouratoglou have been confirmed.
The main attraction will be local player Soonwoo Kwon "The Machine," a former world No. 52, currently ranked 107th in the ATP ranking.
Exciting players like Nick "King" Kyrgios, Gael "La Monf" Monfils, and Alexander "The Bublik Enemy" Bublik will join him to ensure a thrilling show in Seoul.
Confirmation is still pending for four more players who will join in a format similar to that of the ATP Finals and Next Gen Finals.
In other words, two groups of four players each compete against each other, and the top two from each group advance to the semifinals.
The best from Group A competes against the second-best from Group B, and vice versa, to determine the finalists.
The champion of UTS Seoul qualifies for the final event of the year, which is the UTS Grand Final scheduled to take place between December 7th and 10th.
