Toni Nadal warns Carlos Alcaraz of the danger of Jannik Sinner: "I fear that his mental improvement will make things very difficult for him".

Despite testing positive in two anti-doping tests, Jannik Sinner has been able to continue competing on the ATP circuit without sanction and play a North American tour in which the Italian shone, winning his second Grand Slam title by winning the US Open 2024. With this, the world number 1 is now 2 behind the 4 held by Carlos Alcaraz.
Despite the Murcian's advantage, Toni Nadal has recently made a statement published by the Daily Express in which Rafa Nadal's uncle warns Alcaraz that things with Sinner are going to be really difficult for him.
"Sinner is able to execute each of his shots with great speed and make very few unforced errors. Beating him from the back of the court is almost impossible," begins Toni Nadal.
"I must say that I still enjoy Alcaraz's game more, but I also admit and fear that Sinner's remarkable improvement, especially mentally, will make things really difficult for him. The rivalry is definitely on," added Nadal, putting his faith in the Spaniard's talent.

To conclude, Toni Nadal did not overlook all the controversy arising from the doping case of Jannik Sinner: "Before the U.S. Open we wondered how it could all affect him. The Italian has shown once again that he not only has one of the best games on the circuit, but also the temperament to deal with really complicated situations".
Last September 10 it was announced that Sinner had been declared innocent of the doping case, but it turned out that the information was false. So far, the world number 1 is still under investigation for those two tests he failed during the last edition of Indian Wells.

- How is it not clear to pro tennis Elitists in charge that flooding the sport with more and more tournaments is NOT the answer? Such decisions made through PURE GREED disguised as "offering more up & coming players a chance to compete". This sport is, at the very foundation, a Business. Any corporate entity should know by now that introducing too many 'franchises' to a limited market is counterproductive to say the very least? And let us not forget the Top Athletes cannot be everywhere week-to-week no matter how much money the tourneys throw at them.
