VIDEO: Becker sends New Year Message, believes he came out stronger after prison experience

Boris Becker was recently released from a UK prison and then deported to Germany where he gave a tell-all interview and now he's in Sao Tome and Principe.

Becker used his freedom for a trip to warmer lands in order to celebrate the arrival of a new year. He was glad to see 2022 go as it was one of the worst in his life. He briefly addressed it in a message on social media where he wished everyone a happy new year. In the video posted on Instagram, Becker said:

"I call this the most difficult year of my life. But it's done, it's dusted. I came out alive - I think I came out stronger. I think my mental health is better than ever.”

He added:

"Now lets call it quits, 2022 is over, thank you very much and see you next year."
