IMPOSSIBLE drop shot 🤯 @benoitpaire @SwissOpenGstaad
Benoit Paire has not played a lot of good tennis since the pandemic started as the Frenchman is one of the players who feeds off the energy of the fans. That is why for the majority of 2021 Paire was playing careless tennis not really trying his best. That resulted in numerous fines and warnings with analysts calling him out for his behaviour.
However, as fans are slowly starting to come back to the courts so does the level of Paire raised. His play got better over the past month and he started caring more about winning. One such match came today in Gstaad where Paire was playing Kovalik. Paire won the match 6-3 7-6(2) and in the 2nd set, he showcased his well-known touch.
Paire played a drop shot that bounced forward over the net back into his side of the court. The spin was so immense that it completely swung the ball over the net with Kovalik ultimately ended up touching trying to get to the ball. Check it out below.
