Canadian tennis player Vasek Pospisil seemingly isn't enjoying playing tennis these days as he was heard saying during his Cherbourg Challenger match that he was "f------ sick of this sport."
Pospisil, a former world No 25, is now ranked at No 111 in the world. This week, the 32-year old was the top-seeded player at the Cherbourg Challenger on the ATP Challenger Tour. But Pospisil's campaign in Cherbourg was a short one as German Mats Moraing handed him a 6-4 7-6 (5) loss.
"I don't want to play tennis anymore, man. I'm so sick of this f------ sport," Pospisil was heard telling his coach.
After dropping the opening set, Pospisil lost his cool in the second as his opponent capitalized on some inconsistent play to obtain an early break and lead 2-1. However, the Canadian broke back and forced a tiebreak, where he squandered a 3-2 lead as Moraing won the next four points before closing out the match.
