Former World No.1 Andy Murray has always been a fan favorite, and this was very evident following his first round victory over Richard Gasquet at the Western & Southern Open.
The Scotsman was leaving the court after his almost two hour battle with Gasquet, yet he still had time to stop and interact with some fans who had stayed up late to watch the rain-delayed match.
After stopping for a few pictures, Murray noticed a young boy in the stands. Although he was being urged to move on by tournament officials, Murray stopped and said "let me give the kid something" before handing the boy a wristband from his tennis bag.
The gesture was a wholesome moment, no doubt creating a memory that would last with the kid forever.
