Serbia’s legendary tennis star Novak Djokovic disguised as a fisherman and surprised kids in Montenegro. The 36-year-old is often regarded as the greatest player in the history of men’s tennis in the Open era, having won as many as 24 Grand Slam titles.
In a video posted on YouTube, Djokovic can be seen disguised as a fisherman, much to the delight of the kids who were clearly ecstatic to see the reigning world number one. The Belgrade-born went on to also play tennis with kids as fans gathered around him on the streets of Montenegro and made videos of him.
The legendary tennis star has not played any tennis since April 13 as he continues his preparation for the busy Grand Slam season which is about to start with the Roland Garros in May. His last appearance came in the Monte-Carlos Masters where he was knocked out after losing in the semifinal to Norway’s Casper Ruud with a score of 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. The reigning world number one is not having a good season according to his high standards as he has not played in the final of any event. Earlier, he lost in the semifinal of the Australian Open to Italy’s Jannik Sinner with a score of 6-1, 6-2, 6-7, 6-3. Djokovic then participated in the Indian Wells but lost in the round of 32 to Luca Nardi with a score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
