It appears tennis may flow in the blood of the Alcaraz family, as Jaime Alcaraz, the younger brother of former World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz, was seen hitting some extraordinary forehands during a practice session over the weekend.

Reigning Wimbledon champion Alcaraz has taken the tennis world by storm, rapidly rising up the rankings over the past two years. The Spaniard has added two Grand Slam titles to his resume during that period, capturing the 2022 US Open and 2023 Wimbledon titles. However, his attempt at another Major title was cut short by Alexander Zverev, who defeated the second seed in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Australian Open.

In a video circulating on social media, the 12-year old brother of Alcaraz was seen hitting some groundstrokes during a practice session. The youngster was captured hitting some sublime forehands, employing a lot of pace and spin for his age. Although it was a very small sample size, the ease with which Jaime moved around the court indicated he had dedicated a lot of time to his craft and could possibly follow the path of his older brother somewhere down the line.
