Someone is in Kyrgios' box that shouldn't be. #AusOpen
Nick Kyrgios advanced to the 2nd round of the Australian Open without many issues winning in straight sets but midmatch he took issue with his supporters' box.
It was a straightforward tennis match for Nick Kyrgios who defeated Ferreira Silva in straight sets to advance to the 2nd round. But on several occasions during the match he took exception to behaviour coming from his supporters' box. The first of such outbursts came earlier in the match when he yelled at his box:
"Are you guys awake, or... are you awake? Are you awake? Don't watch if you're just going to sit there. Said one thing for two games. Unbelievable."
A bit later in the match, he took things a bit further calling for a member of his box to leave. He yelled:
"Tell your girlfriend to get out of my box."
It is not apparent to whom the remark was made but as the camera showed the box the discomfort was very visible among those sitting there. Not much happened after that and Kyrgios closed out the match. He will face Ugo Humbert in the next round of the Australian Open. You can check out the whole outburst below:
