Former world number one
Andy Murray makes fun of the golf
skills of America’s
Frances Tiafoe. The 27-year-old recently shared a post on
the social media post with a caption: "Some days you move mountains. Other
days, you climb them. What matters is that you keep going" @nipseyhussle 🏁🏁
Thanks for the stay @bravoluxuryretreats ✊🏿✊🏿"
In response to that, Murray had an interesting response. "And
some days you hit the worst golf shots ever posted on Instagram 🤷♂️,”
he wrote. "@andymurray 😂😂😂 bro
on my way to the @pgatour in a few years. It’s not about where you start from
it’s about where you’re going 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️😂😂"
wrote Tiafoe in response.
Murray, who is often regarded as one of the greatest British
player in the history of men’s tennis in the singles category, retired from professional
tennis in 2024 after taking part at the Paris Olympics. He finished his career
with three Grand Slam titles.
On the other hand, Tiafoe is still very active. He was recently featured at the Indian Wells, where he was knocked out after losing in the round of 32 to Japan’s Yosuke Watanuki in straight sets with a score of
6-4, 7-6. Before that, the 27-year-old lost in the round of 16 of the Mexican Open
to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina with a score of 6-3, 7-6, 6-3. It was his fifth consecutive
defeat in the second round of an event this season. Before that, he lost in the
second round of the Brisbane International, the Australian Open and the Dallas
Open.
