Barty and Goerges team up for 2020 Grand Slams

Both Goerges and Barty were pretty successful in doubles throughout their careers. Goerges won 5 WTA and 6 ITF titles, climbing her career-high 12th place in 2016 and reaching semifinals at the Australian Open twice, in 2015 and 2016.

Barty won 10 WTA titles and 9 ITF, reaching her career-high 5th place in 2018. In the same year, she has won the US Open and in 2013 she was the finalist at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.

Recently, Barty won Newcombe award in Australia as she said: “I’m incredibly grateful and very humbled to be here tonight,” the 23-year-old said. “This is not about individual athletes — it’s a night of celebration for everyone involved in tennis and everyone that’s a part of our tennis family. Congratulations to everyone else who’s in this room. It takes a village and we are a big tennis family. I’m very humbled to be here tonight.”
