Billie Jean King on young American talent: "Coco is a special one, she loves the big stage"

12-time singles Grand Slam champion and 16-time doubles Grand Slam champion Billie Jean King spoke about young American talent Coco Gauff.
Just 15-years-old Coco Gauff is considered to be one of the most talented tennis players. During the 2019 season, she reached 4th round at the Wimbledon and 3rd round at the US Open.
In doubles, she also won 2 WTA titles with Caty McNally and sits on 68th position in WTA Singles Ranking. Former singles and doubles world number one Billie Jean King spoke about Gauff when she wrote:
“Coco Gauff has a certain It factor, Coco is a special one. She loves the big stage, is very well prepared on and off the court, and—most importantly—she knows there are so many more opportunities ahead for her life and her career. But because she has proved she is exceptional at tennis, she now has a platform to inspire all of us, especially young people.”
