Feliciano Lopez: "My mom had the Coronavirus"

Former world number 12 in the ATP Ranking, Feliciano Lopez spoke about Coronavirus in his family as well as the upcoming Virtual Madrid Open.

Currently, Lopez sits on the 56th place in the ATP Ranking, but he is also a tournament director for the Madrid Open. This year, the tournament has been changed into a Virtual Madrid Open and so the Spaniard spoke about this tournament. In 3rd episode of the Tennis United, Feliciano also spoke about how his family handled the Coronavirus.
"In my family, we had one case. My mom, she's a nurse so she got infected. We are very lucky that she's great now, she overcame the Coronavirus. But we are very lucky that she is doing well now," Lopez said.
"We have this new initiative now in the tournament where we're gonna have this beautiful virtual tennis tournament. The players are really willing to play and we have good feedback so far. We have this game that we have played a while ago for the tournament where fans can play on-site normally. We have some of the players already in the game and for the other players we had the characters created," said Lopez.
